The kindergarten in Taverne is a completely new facility, situated in an intimate and quiet location, surrounded by greenery.<\/p>\n
The urban aesthetics make the infrastructure modern and innovative. Inside, there are the classic rooms of any kindergarten, from playgrounds to classrooms to the canteen, and everything overlooks a large garden designed in every detail.<\/p>\n
The lighting design was drawn up focusing on the minimal style of the building, in order to emphasise it, while complying with the required standards for school lighting.<\/p>\n
The luminaires positioned in the common areas, the support room and the teachers’ classrooms are custom-made linear luminaires, revised especially for the design of this kindergarten on the basis of the BE_LINE RECTANGLE 3030, which has larger dimensions than the smaller 18 and 10 series.<\/p>\n
These products were specially chosen because of the need to satisfy both aesthetic requirements and the demand for higher wattages to guarantee the minimum necessary lumens.<\/p>\n
Also for outdoor areas, again based on the BE_LINE RECTANGLE 3030 in the IP67 version, a custom product was developed that is ideal for use in outdoor environments, thanks to its high water and weather resistance.<\/p>\n
This article was supplied in a custom version for both installations in order to be able to make continuous lines that could be very long, but which had the particularity of having perfect luminous continuity, without unsightly interruptions.<\/p>\n
The choice of this be_line fixture was also dictated by an intrinsic feature of the collection, which is that both the IP20 and IP67 versions are aesthetically identical and provide exactly the same light in terms of power and colour temperature, despite the fact that the outdoor versions are resin-coated.<\/p>\n
This peculiarity, unique in the world of linear luminaires, was fundamental in the project to give continuity to the lines that from the inside “cross” the large windows to extend outside under the terrace to illuminate the veranda.<\/p>\n
