Overlooking Lake Lugano, Switzerland, the Rivabella retirement and convalescence home is a facility for the elderly also used as a hotel for short stays, rest and vacation.<\/p>\n
The nursing home has five suites, forty-two rooms and eight flats, right at the foot of the beautiful hills of Lugano.<\/p>\n
It has an amazing garden with a swimming pool and inside we find facilities such as saunas, a gym and a top-class restaurant.<\/p>\n
Inside the structure, there are also areas dedicated to medical and nursing care and physiotherapy.<\/p>\n
To create a relaxing and at the same time functional atmosphere, the designer carried out an in-depth lighting study, which led him to choose the ideal products for each area, drawing heavily on the collections of beblaze fixtures.<\/p>\n
In the entrance hall, as well as in the multi-purpose room, BE_LINE TRAPEZIUM 4030 fixtures have been installed. These rooms require non-invasive, yet high-powered light to guarantee the desired brightness levels.<\/p>\n
The same choice was made for the lighting of the individual apartments, but using a positioning technique that enhanced the curtains of the large windows to create a scenic effect with a strong visual impact.<\/p>\n
For the back-office area, the examination room, the clinic and the massage rooms, the ideal option was the BE_BRIGHT SQUARE 40×40 H25. These are environments that require light that strikes the right balance between functionality and aesthetics, through the use of clean and essential lines in harmony with the context in which they are installed.<\/p>\n
For the swimming pool and the relax area, the BE_BRIGHT CIRCLE \u00d860 H50, outdoor version, were chosen for obvious reasons related to the critical conditions of the environment. These luminaires have a unique size-to-power ratio, which is why they are often used in areas like these, which require special requirements as well as harmonious and elegant shapes<\/p>\n
The large veranda overlooking the garden area has been illuminated using the recessed version of BE_LINE TRAPEZIUM 4030 for outdoor installation. The unique feature of the fixtures in the be_line collection makes it possible to install the same item for indoor or outdoor use, making it practically identical aesthetically, in terms of color temperature and light characteristics. Therefore, these products, seen simultaneously through the large windows, look the same as those installed in some internal areas, to create continuity between inside and outside.<\/p>\n
