The Cadro – Davesco cycle and pedestrian walkway project is part of the region-wide route known as the ‘Via del Lago’, which connects the residential suburbs of Lugano with the city center.<\/p>\n
Because of its connecting function, the use of the footbridge is not only related to leisure activities. At the planning stage, its use was already envisaged by those users who would cycle along it to work, even at times when solar lighting is absent of very reduced.<\/p>\n
In addition to these requirements, there was a need for a solution that would allow the local fauna to be maintained and respected. It was therefore necessary to proceed with the installation of products that did not disturb nocturnal animals and at the same time did not emit light upwards in compliance with light pollution regulations.<\/p>\n
For these reasons, the solution with beblaze products was selected for the lighting design, which enabled the specifier to meet all the required characteristics and environmental requirements.<\/p>\n
